"I was here as part of the hotel breakfast and was thoroughly surprised that a bar had such great selection and the service from Carlos was fantastic. Kudos to him. There’s a large variety of cheese and cold meats and a bunch of other things that I think was well presented and a good quality."

"Very touristy but cute. Food was alright, not outstanding but good. I liked that they had multiple vegan options! I had the mushroom &soy stroganoff which was good. Sadly they had no vegan dessert which was disappointing. Staff was nice but I got different information from different people on the question if the sauces for the salad are vegan or not."

"Came here for dinner and the food was amazing, we had steak and it was actually medium rare, not medium and an amazing fondue. Shame about the service, it wasn’t full by any means but everything took a look time, it’s hard to call a waiter as nobody gives you eye contact, we were waiting for half an hour just to get a bill, then another 15 minutes to pay it which let’s it down. Otherwise I’d be truly an amazing place to eat."

"We had such a wonderful dinner here today. We ordered the Mongolian dinner. It comes with a salad from the bar. The options were really good. Our server was very kind and made our dinner so pleasant. The atmosphere is beautiful and made all the difference with the small town vibe. The Virgin mojito was delicious and so refreshing. We also had soft serve ice cream and the pistachio tiramisu which was also the perfect end to our dinner. We also actually came to Barry’s in the afternoon for fondue which was a nice Swiss experience. Definitely will be back before we leave Grindelwald."

"Very good burger We went to this restaurant without reservation and they accepted us so nicely. We took a very delicious burger and had a glass of their Big Bottle. The glass costs 14chf but it worth the price !"

"I am sure Barrys is the best restaurant in Grindelwald. The owner will personally take care of everything themselves. The food is amazing, and all the staff are very friendly and professional. Elea, in particular, stands out — she is kind, smart, and always brings a smile to every customer. She’s also very caring and attentive to everyone’s needs. I will definitely go again the next time I’m in town."

"First time visiting Grindelwald and saw that Barry’s was the best so I booked a reservation for my boyfriend and I to come and enjoy some fondue and this exceeded my expectations. Melanie especially is so amazing. She is so warm and welcoming and did everything to make this experience awesome! So awesome we came back the next day without reservations and she was nice enough to seat us. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for that traditional Switzerland dining experience and a nice warm welcome from Melanie!"

"This is the only restaurant that is open till 11pm late autumn. So yeah. One thing I dont think the lady staff who took our order understand when we asked about if juice under beverage menu is fresh or it's from juice extracts. She answered yes fresh juice it is, and i ordered. Served exactly juice extract.... sad. Otherwise everything here is good, great atmosphere, food presentation and taste. Love the Caesar salad, burger and tomato soup. We also tried our first cheese fondue. It was soooooo gooood. I would return to try more other dishes the next time i revisit. Spent a total of CHF184 for 2 pax. A little over order. Attached with menu taken from my visit. Recommended!"
